The Computerized catalogue  for books  in  English  and other  European languages is
     in English, and that for books in Hindi  and other Indian languages in Devnagari script.

     The books in English and Hindi are also sub-divided  into the 'Reference' section and
     the 'Lending' section. In 'Reference' section, single copies of old  or costly publications
     are kept, while in  the 'Lending'  section, extra copies or less costly publications are 
     kept. In the catalogue, letter  'L' (in  both  English and Devnagari versions) indicates
     that the  book is  available in  both the  'Lending'  and the reference  sections, and its
     absence means that the book is available in the 'Reference' section only.

     Books in other languages are placed language-wise but are not divided into 'Reference'
     or 'Lending' sections.
